The Associated General Contractors of America's Supervisory Training Program (STP) is a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors. Supervisory skill - or lack of it - directly affects every company's bottom line. Your firm make its money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization's bottom line.
STP focuses on the knowledge and skills every supervisor must have to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment and materials.
This session provides information about contract documents and construction law to help supervisors recognize the roles and responsibilities of all contracted parties, to develop an understanding of how contract documents can be helpful to solve problems and resolve conflicts, and to develop positive relationships between all parties in the construction process.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. Phil Parham | Senior
Counsel | Guilmette Henderson
Phil counsels a broad range of clients within the construction
industry, including owners, general contractors, design-build contractors,
suppliers, and subcontractors. He has experience handling a variety of
deputes, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, delay claims,
negligence, and wrongful termination. He advises clients on claims avoidance and risk mitigation by reviewing,
preparing, and negotiating construction contracts. He also provides
guidance to client on compliance with local ordinances and has experience
filing lien and bond claims when necessary. While in law school, Phil served as an extern to Chief Justice David Nahmias of
the Supreme Court of Georgia, He was also an intern to the Honorable
Charles A. Pannell of the US District Court for the Northern District of
Georgia, Atlanta Division. He's served in many capacities within AGC Georgia throughout his construction industry career, including chairing the Young Leadership Program and serving several terms on the association's Board of Directors.
